The shape of a vacuum cup determines its properties: The larger its suction area, greater is the force with which it can suck in a workpiece. Large area, small width -
the FIPA oval - and rectangular - vacuum cups satisfy these criteria.

They are used in those applications where

• round vacuum cups fail, since limited space is available,
• the workpiece has bars and webs,
• heavy workpieces have to be lifted by suction,
• long and small parts with straight or curved surfaces need to be handled.

These vacuum professionals can even handle very deep-structured surfaces without any problem.

The vacuum cups for heavy workpieces and constrained spaces are available in different designs ranging from 4 x 2 mm. to 800 x 400 mm
