A tube lifter from FIPA GmbH is now providing relief for employees of the logistics service provider Agro-Norm when it comes to the energy-sapping task of order picking. The customised lifting solution consists of the tube lifter FIPALIFT Basic, to which a special gripper is attached with Varioflex® vacuum cups, and a wall-mounted jib crane.
Specifically for the company Leuze electronic GmbH + Co. KG, FIPA has developed a low-noise, customised hand gripper for the handling of sensitive plastic caps for optosensors without leaving any marks or contaminants.
With its sturdy Varioflex® vacuum cups FIPA GmbH offers a solution for handling abrasive products, e.g. paper and carton in packaging lines. The automation specialist de Man has tested the vacuum cups on the “Heron” palletiser and is extremely satisfied with the results that were achieved.
For STVision GmbH, FIPA GmbH has designed a customer-specific handling solution that takes coded discs out of a storage stack and brings them to a testing site. The handling solution is based on a vacuum-operated lifting cylinder that can stack and destack thin, fragile objects in short cycle times.
FIPA GmbH is expanding its portfolio of solutions with an all-new line of oval vacuum cups for handling sheet metal. “We now offer a wide range of vacuum cups for handling sheet metal,” says Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
FIPA GmbH is presenting innovative lifting solutions for sheet metal and metal processing industries at the Blechexpo 2015 in Stuttgart / Germany. “Our lifting technology helps ease the burden on employees and leads to greater efficiency in sheet metal processing,” said Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
FIPA GmbH developed a customised handling solution to make the workplace more ergonomic and provide increased productivity for Krieger Treppen GmbH. The handling solution is based on the FIPALIFT Expert, which was adjusted to the task by using FIPA gripper and vacuum components.
Gently grip workpieces from inside: The pneumatically operated, single-acting ID grippers from FIPA GmbH are the alternative for workpieces with holes or gaps. “With our new range of ID grippers, we significantly stand out of the competition by offering maximum user flexibility and ease of service,” says Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
Quick and safe gripper changeover: FIPA has expanded its product portfolio to include quick-change systems with innovative SAFE-LOCK. An innovative snap-on mechanism combined with a visual locking indication further improves process safety.
Safe and precise: With the new 100 series’ grippers, FIPA GmbH now offers a technically optimised gripper component. “The new grippers round off our portfolio of grippers for the gentle removal of workpieces from injection molding machines,” says Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
FIPA did not invent vacuum technology, but made a great deal from it. As a result, the company has become a leading specialist for End-of-Arm-Tooling and lifting technology. Based on this expertise and many years of application experience, FIPA is presenting FIPALIFT tube lifters at the LIGNA 2015, a completely new system solution development for material logistics.
It belongs on the desk of every automation expert: FIPA GmbH offers a comprehensive compendium of gripper technology in its new End-of-Arm-Tooling (EOAT) catalogue GR07. According to Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA, "the entire competence of FIPA is now available in two catalogues in combination with the Vacuum Technology Catalogue VT01, published last year".
In close cooperation with FIPA GmbH, South Korean DAHO TECH COMPANY has built a vacuum crossbeam for handling heavy steel plates. "Once again, our project with DAHO TECH COMPANY demonstrates our high level of expertise in vacuum technology. Even the heaviest products can be handled in a reliable production process using our lifting systems," says Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
FIPA GmbH is entering sheet metal handling with a range of new products. The company is thus enhancing its already enormous range of vacuum cups and accessories for everything surrounding vacuum technology. “We are investing our expertise from over 20 years of involvement in material flow technology in a dynamic market into innovative products,” says Rainer Mehrer, CEO at FIPA.
Indispensable for automation experts: FIPA GmbH is offering a comprehensive compendium of vacuum technology in the new VT01 Vacuum Technology Catalogue. “The new catalogue underscores our goal of offering the right solution for every need and for every industry in impressive form”, says Rainer Mehrer, CEO at FIPA.
FIPA GmbH now offers a very wide range of vacuum gripping systems. “With all of our pertinent experience we are well-prepared to realise the right gripping system quickly and economically,” according to Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
Maintenance-free and robust: The new SZ-NIV-HD series of heavy-duty spring levelers from FIPA GmbH offers innovative vacuum components for dynamic handling and short cycle times in rough production environments. “High-quality bearing material and design improvements ensure an exceptionally long service life,” says Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
Extremely reliable and highly flexible: With its new suction plates, SPLT series, FIPA GmbH makes automated sheet metal handling a lot easier. “FIPA is once again expanding its solutions for sheet metal handling”, says Rainer Mehrer, CEO at FIPA.
Greater holding force, less weight: With the new Bernoulli vacuum cups, FIPA GmbH offers a solution for gentle handling of food and other delicate products.“The new Bernoulli grippers are made from PEEK, a material suitable for use with foodstuffs, and meet the stringent requirements of hygienic design,” says Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA.
Even more user-friendly layout, information on all of the products, practical CAD download: FIPA GmbH has completely redesigned its website, which now offers many useful extras. The FIPA products and all their relevant technical data can now be viewed online. “The system of categorization according to products and line-of-business applications, combined with the optimized search function, enable automation specialists and material-flow experts to find suitable products within a very short time. Functions such as the quotation list and the option to redirect the shopping cart both support the request for quotations,” Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA, tells us.
FIPA GmbH has developed a gripper for AUMA Riester GmbH & Co. KG that considerably improves ergonomics in the workplace. The gripper makes it easier to handle electric motors, shortens cycle times and offers a high degree of process reliability.
Ultra-fast cycle times, compact design: the new ejector from FIPA is a vacuum generator for automation applications and uses vacuum cups for highly dynamic handling tasks. "The patented blow-off boost of the new ejector makes it economically feasible to precisely deposit a workpiece in milliseconds," says Rainer Mehrer, CEO at FIPA.
