FIPA GmbH has released the new 2016 Series self-centering, gap-free sprue grippers. Featuring a wide jaw opening, high closing force, single-acting operation, and easy assembly and disassembly, the new grippers are also available with optional direct sensing capabilities and smooth or sawtooth jaws. The 2016 Series sprue grippers provide manufacturers throughout the automotive and plastics molding industries with an assortment of options designed to satisfy a broad range of gripping system specifications. This series is also the first to feature FIPA’s prominent, new red dot trademark symbol derived from the FIPA company logo.
FIPA GmbH recently created a custom EOAT solution that facilitates the removal of protective film from sheet metal with a cost- and labor-saving automated process. Developed for Foilpuller GmbH, a stainless steel sheet metal processing company based in Bobingen, Germany, FIPA’s system combines long lifecycle, high holding force vacuum cups with pressure regulating, air-saving compact ejectors to deliver reliable, non-slip sheet metal handling for the Foilpuller system.
FIPA GmbH has released a robust new series of non-rotating internal spring suspensions. Designed to compensate for height and level differences in direct vacuum cup mounting applications without the need for or expense of additional fittings, as well as to ensure the gentle placement of vacuum cups on workpieces, the new suspensions exhibit extreme resistance to dirt and damage to deliver long lifetime performance, and were expressly designed for diverse applications.
FIPA GmbH has developed a customer-specific gripper system for ZEIBINA Kunststoff-Technik GmbH that removes hot plastic parts from injection moulding machines without leaving tarnishing marks. The new gripper reduces staff’s workload and increases throughput.
FIPA GmbH offers grippers with temperature-resistant HNBR pads and fully-coated gripper jaws for applications in plastic injection moulding. The new 100 series grippers impress with the time and cost-saving replacement of their HNBR pads. The gripper with full HNBR coating of the jaws prevents scratching of the workpiece even in applications with restricted space conditions.

FIPA GmbH offers an alternative solution to package grabbing with its highly-efficient and process-reliable vacuum gripping systems. Individual cardboard box packages or whole layers can be handled without changing grippers and regardless of the position of the cardboard package.
FIPA entered into the lifting technology market in mid-2015. A tube lifter from FIPA GmbH is now providing relief for employees of the logistics service provider Agro-Norm when it comes to the energy-sapping task of order picking. The customised lifting solution consists of the tube lifter FIPALIFT Basic, to which a special gripper is attached with Varioflex® vacuum cups, and a wall-mounted jib crane.
Specifically for the company Leuze electronic GmbH + Co. KG, FIPA has developed a low-noise, customised hand gripper for the handling of sensitive plastic caps for optosensors without leaving any marks or contaminants.
With its sturdy Varioflex® vacuum cups FIPA GmbH offers a solution for handling abrasive products, e.g. paper and carton in packaging lines. The automation specialist de Man has tested the vacuum cups on the “Heron” palletiser and is extremely satisfied with the results that were achieved.
For STVision GmbH, FIPA GmbH has designed a customer-specific handling solution that takes coded discs out of a storage stack and brings them to a testing site. The handling solution is based on a vacuum-operated lifting cylinder that can stack and destack thin, fragile objects in short cycle times.

FIPA GmbH developed a customised handling solution to make the workplace more ergonomic and provide increased productivity for Krieger Treppen GmbH. The handling solution is based on the FIPALIFT Expert, which was adjusted to the task by using FIPA gripper and vacuum components.

FIPA GmbH has developed a gripper for AUMA Riester GmbH & Co. KG that considerably improves ergonomics in the workplace. The gripper makes it easier to handle electric motors, shortens cycle times and offers a high degree of process reliability.

Ultra-fast cycle times, compact design: the new ejector from FIPA is a vacuum generator for automation applications and uses vacuum cups for highly dynamic handling tasks.
