Valve technology

The FIPA valve technology range is optimised for vacuum and compressed air applications in automation and handling systems. The range of products includes valves of various designs, technologies and sizes – from electromagnetic vacuum valves and pneumatic valves for vacuums as well as electromagnetic vacuum valves for compressed air, through to basic valves like flow valves, touch valves, non-return valves, butterfly valves and manual valves.


With FIPA 2/2-way and 3/2-way valves, processes like suction, blow-off and ventilation can be optimally controlled in vacuum systems. In highly dynamic handling applications, this means short cycle times through fast switching between suction and air inlet.


Electromagnetic vacuum valves are suited for complex automation systems and can be controlled by PLC or an industrial PC using electric switching signals.

FIPA offers a selection of electromagnetic vacuum valves that are controlled directly, supported by compressed air and pre-controlled by an internal vacuum.

Electromagnetic vacuum valves with compressed air support, also known on the market as pneumatically pre-controlled electromagnetic vacuum valves, switch quickly between suction and air inlet, thereby ensuring short cycle times.


So-called compressed air-actuated valves, pneumatically controlled valves or pneumatic valves are prized for their short switching times and can, for example, be used in grippers operated purely by compressed air.

FIPA flow valves maintain the required vacuum level in automation systems and handling systems by closing unoccupied suction openings.
