    FIPA on tour: FACHPACK 2022 | European trade fair for packaging, technology and processes

    From 27 to 29 September 2022, FACHPACK in Nuremberg will address the important topics of the packaging industry and its customers.

    Picking up on the important topics

    FACHPACK, a compact trade fair for the national and international packaging industry, will be held for three days at the end of September in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg. Exhibitors, industry experts and interested visitors from all over the world will be spread across a total of twelve exhibition halls. The focus this year at FACHPACK is all about sustainability. With the leading theme "Transition in packaging", current discussions around the circular economy will be taken up. Influenced by lockdowns and supplier problems in recent years, the two topics of digitalization and e-commerce will also be examined in greater detail.

    In addition to packaging materials, packaging materials and packaging aids made of various materials (paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, wood, textile, etc.), FACHPACK will showcase innovations from mechanical engineering (e.g. packaging & filling machines) and present news from the areas of palletizing technology, intralogistics and services. The industry focus is on food, beverages and luxury foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals and health care, non-food, pet food and other consumer goods, as well as automotive, technical articles, medical technology and other industrial goods. The event's program is rounded off by the thematically defined PACKBOX, INNOVATIONBOX and TECHBOX forums, various special shows, various joint stands and meeting points offering space for exchange and discussion.

    A success story

    FACHPACK was held for the first time in 1979 on the exhibition site in Nuremberg and was already able to attract 2,000 expert visitors at that time. At the last full-size FACHPACK in 2019, more than 1,600 exhibitors and around 44,000 trade visitors were counted.

    The level of approval the trade show receives from exhibitors and visitors is also impressive. According to a 2021 survey, for example, 93% of exhibitors were satisfied with the overall success of their participation. Approval among visitors is even higher. There, 94% of visitors stated that they were satisfied with their visit to FACHPACK.

    FIPA is participating in FACHPACK for the first time in 2022 and will present a large part of its portfolio for the packaging industry in the categories of packaging auxillaries, packaging and filling machinery,  repackaging systems and intralogistics. Included will be innovations and products from gripper technology, vacuum cups and lifting solutions from the Ergonomic Handling area.
